Project Judy

We received Judy as a gift five years ago as we were preparing for the birth of our first daughter.  I could not have imagined what an important part of Piper’s life Judy would eventually be!

Actually, they are called Eppie dolls, made locally in Waleska, Ga, and they are patterned after Puritan pew babies.  But Piper named hers Judy and she soon became our daughter’s constant companion.  Judy has been with us to Colorado, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina, and even the Dominican Republic.  She has been the subject of frantic searches through the house at bedtime, she has been lovingly sewn back together a few times, and she even made it on the family tree Piper made at preschool last year.  She’s pretty special.

Through Project Judy, our 4 year old daughter, Piper Joy, desires to share some of that love & companionship with the orphans of Haiti.  She has followed her daddy’s work through REDEEM HAITI in the earthquake ravaged nation and has prayed for the children there. Now she wants to give them something that always makes her feel better – Judy.  You can help Piper share Judy with every orphan in Haiti through Project Judy!

For a donation of $20, you can send a Judy doll to an orphan in Haiti through REDEEM HAITI.  You can also send a personalized note with your Judy.  This is the perfect project to get your children involved in sharing grace with children of Haiti.  The dolls will be specially constructed of durable canvas and will be delivered by a REDEEM HAITI team.  Please help us encourage and love the orphans of Haiti through this simple project.

[...] close I’d like to share with you a link to Project Judy.  While her dad was in Haiti, Piper wanted a way to help the kids she saw who were suffering.  [...]
